About ElectroDetection
ElectroDetection was established in 1983, primarily to locate and map underground services. The company operates a fleet of vehicles which are all equipped with the latest detection technology. This allows us to carryout the comprehensive range of underground service surveys.

ElectroDetection has been involved in the survey of services, both internal and external, at over 3500 sites both in the UK and overseas. Sites include:
- All England Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club
- AEA, Harwell
- Lord's Cricket Ground
- The Oval Cricket Ground
- Guildhall, London
- The Falklands
- Berlin
- Abu Dhabi
Our Staff
All senior surveyors have recognised surveying qualifications and have been involved in the survey of underground services for a minimum of 15 years. The assistant surveyors have progressed through the ElectroDetection internal vocational training programme.
Most members of staff have attended the Thames Water CP2 confined space accreditation course and the company currently has four members of staff who hold valid CP2 certificates. Most field staff have attended and passed the City and Guilds certification in signing, lighting and guarding.
